This DIY project was so easy and so much fun! I’ve been struggling for a long time on what to do with this huge wall in our living room for a long time. I feel like most people have a hard time figuring out what to do with the wall behind their couch too. It’s just soooo much space to fill, it’s intimidating! In the past, I’ve done framed photo collages and I like them fine, but after a while it starts to feel cluttery to me. When I decide to take them down I’m left with tons of nail holes I have to try and hide. Instead of shopping for a huge piece of art that would most likely be very expensive, I thought I’d just try to make something. I’m so happy with how this turned out! It’s so earthy and beautiful and the perfect decor for spring. I think it would look really pretty in a little girls nursery too! Fingers crossed I’ll get to use it for that someday hehe.
All you need are a few simple supplies (most of which I’m sure you already have) and a sturdy tree branch. I brought this one back from a walk I took with Oskar and Hanalei. Jon was so confused when I showed up with it haha, but he’s happy with its transformation. The branch is huge, but you can certainly make any size you want. My first thought was that I would use real flowers, but once they dried I knew I would hate it. I’m really not a fan of fake flowers, but I’m happy I went with them because they are so small you really can’t tell unless you are right up to them, and the colors will stay vibrant forever. If you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask them in a comment below! I hope you enjoy the video and feel inspired to make something 🙂 Happy Spring!
